BioShock 2 is the sequel to one of 2007's best first-shooters. The action takes place ten years after the completion of the first game. The setting is still Rapture, the underwater dystopia hidden at the bottom of the ocean. In this game, you control the original "Big Daddy", and your objective is to find your daughter.
Just like in BioShock 1, most of the game has to do with completing the objectives that you are given. Unlike it, however, you have a certain degree of freedom as, for example, how to complete those objectives. You are faced with some tough decisions throughout the game, and the choices that you make will in a way change the outcome of the game, which makes it more fun to play.
Graphically, BioShock 2 is not really different from its predecessor. Graphics are OK and most textures and characters look cartoonish. The controls are still great and the weapons that you can control and the powers that you have are a lot of fun to play with.
This year, visitors of Rapture will also get to play in many multiplayer modes. Although not very dynamic, these multiplayer modes succeed in giving the game some extra replay value.
